During the most beautiful time of the year you should have the right to do whatever your heart desires.
You have the option either to take part in our carefully prepared recreational program or to inquire at the reception desk about the various options for planning your day.

Motorcycles and Convertibles
As you may already know, the “Großglockner High Alpine Road” is considered to be the most beautiful high mountain road in the alps.
This is of course true, but just the roads off the "tourist routes" to offer something special for the driver's heart. Pass through pristine nature, and you see traditional farms. The area surrounding Heiligenblut provides just that - nice and tight turns are also sufficient.
Motorcyclists and convertible owners are always welcome at our establishment and we also have an underground parking place for your vehicle.
Bicycle and e-bike
Heiligenblut’s vicinity offers plenty of possibilities for bikers. Roll along the Großglockner Hochalpenstraße, conquer the over 1,000 metres of difference in altitude, and roll down on the other side, only to make the return trip as well. All this in a spectacular setting surrounded by mountain peaks of 3,000 metres, stopping to rest from time to time. Your sore muscles are guaranteed. However, Heiligenblut offers pleasure for mountain bike users in addition to road runners, putting their skills to the test on hiking trails as well as earth roads on the mountain side.
If you do not insist on using your own bike, you can rent a bicycle or e-bike in Heiligenblut. Our hotel offers lockable storage and a washer facility for your bicycle.

Hiking
Rafting, canyoning
Have you ever tried rafting and canyoning? You can do it in Flattach that you can reach with a 40-minutes driving from our hotel. Why to do it?
You can enjoy pulsing adrenalin in your body and you can explore places that are visible only from the water. The guides of our partner Club Active Mölltal (CAM) know all the best and most fascinating parts of River Möll and Isel.

Via Ferrata in the mystic Möll canyon
The Möllschlucht climbing ferrata is a huge canyon at the foot of the Grossglockner! This trail runs along 420 m of steel cable through the Möll canyon just before Heiligenblut.
The system is characterized mainly by climbing the gorge for extremely long cable-stayed bridges. The beautiful combination of turquoise pools, small waterfalls and steep wall sections are the attractions of this ferrata. Directly from the exit, the view of the church of Heiligenblut - with the famous mountaineer cemetery and with a little luck you can even see the top of the Grossglockner.
Alps-Adriatic Trail
We are off on a varied journey of discovery covering approx. 690 kilometres. Through three countries – Austria, Italy and Slovenia – and three cultures. From the foot of the majestic Grossglockner to the azure blue sea. On the Alpe-Adria-Trail – with heavenly views in the “Garden of Eden”. With views over a well balanced mix of glorious spectacles of nature, alpine water experiences and a fascinating world of animals and plants. Along lakes, streams and rivers until we reach our destination, the Adriatic.
